Regroupement des organismes du Montréal ethnique pour le logement

 In 2008, ROMEL made an offer to purchase both the Ex-Allion elementary school site and the Cecil Newman School sites in Lasalle, from the Lester B Pearson School Board.  The offer to purchase the Ex-Allion site is still open.,  They are awaiting the re-zoning of the site.

OMHM is a paramunicipal organization that manages more than 20,000 low-cost housing units on the island of Montréal, mainly for families and seniors. As part of  Opération 15 000 logements , the OMHM develops affordable housing projects and manages allocation of AccèsLogis rental supplements. The OMHM gives priority for its projects to people on its waiting list.
